From the looks that I get when I'm at a comic book store-yeah, that's kind of true. Even though there are a lot of girls who read comics, we're still a minority.

I rarely have that kind of experience. Usually men in the male-dominated fandoms I'm a part of tend to welcome my presence. I think they're happy that someone with a vagina likes the things that they like for once. No straight man likes a total sausage party.

Online is a different story... although I think everyone just tries to be a total ass to everyone else over the internet.
