True, though I have to wonder just how involved he actually is in the creative process, aside from supplying ideas and designing characters every once in a while. Ideally he should be way too busy for anything more, but seeing how the manga is lately... ^^;; (As for his approval, it might be genuine, though we should take it into consideration that a WJ mangaka would never say something like "well I don't really like what the anime is doing to my story"/"I think that filler was totally crap"... :D;; at least not while being employed by Shueisha.)

In any case, I haven't seen much of the Bleach anime (I'm content with the manga, and I have several issues with the anime), but based on what I see, I actually like the way it deals with fillers, either incorporating them into canon, or basically hanging a "This Is A Filler Don't Take It Seriously" sign over them. (And I actually enjoyed the Bount filler. I'm not sure what this says about me.)
