several directors have either indicated through their moviemaking or outright stated that dialogue isn't "cinema" enough to them, and i actually do hate them for it. not "i won't watch their movies", not "well that's their wrong opinion", not "considering your movies and the history of cinema, this seems ablest and frankly a little sexist" but hate.
