I agree in terms of professional writers, but having tried to write Superman myself, it's actually harder than I thought, especially in an ensemble. Much easier if he or Lois are the main characters, or it's a very small group, but he's deceptively tricky to get right.

There is a reason Superman's greatest foe is a smart guy he has to out think, or socially out manoeuvre and not some guy he can outpunch.
