Yes, agreed. I don't mind dark stuff, like it in fact. But I need a sense of hope.

Even the king of Grimdark, Warhammer 40k has started adding slight amounts of hope into its setting, relatively speaking of course, because the unrelenting grimdarkness was getting too much even for their fans.
