Weirdly cute animals

Saw an opossum yesterday when I was bringing out the trash. It looked like a giant rat and was honestly really cute in a strange way.

What animals do you think are cute that others might not or what animals have a weird thing that is really adorable anyway?

I actually got into a weird email "war" one day where my team sent each other baby animal pictures. The ones I chose were apparently less than cute to the others until one of them sent me a picture with the message, "Do you think this thing is cute???" And I was like, "Naked mole rat!!!😍" And she was like, "How did you know what that was?!"

opossoms are great, plus they eat roaches and ticks so they're cool in my book

I don't think we have roaches or ticks. We do have ants and wasps, though.

not ayrt (sadly an immense arachnophobe-- intellectually I appreciate everything they do for the ecosystem but even a reasonably good drawing sends my heart rate spiking) but I LOVE snakes! They're such CUTIES.

I'm a tremendous fan of bats as well, absolute babies. And I do love possums.
