If a fandom were largely shipping fic, I *could* see an argument about a lack of imagination. And even then, it would depend on whether or not the shipfics all or mostly followed the same formula or not.

But... suggesting that the lack of *crossovers* means a lack of imagination? That seems weird to focus on. You do know there are more ways to write fic besides crossovers and shipping?
