I'll still get worked up about TW because it had so much potential that just went off the rails! It wouod have been easier to not care if it was just 100% shit, but no.

I wish Peter had stayed dead but alternative to that would be teaming up with another big bad so I see where you're going.

That would have been awesome! I really liked her before the reveal so I’d have loved if she’d just been a normal person and became a permanent LI for Derek. That was what I always wished most but I love your idea, too.

I noped out during either 3b or 4a, I can’t remember which. I only enjoyed the first two seasons and eventually I found myself hatewatching for the first time ever so I quit. I was like 20+ years older than the target audience though so figured my problems were my problems LOL

I mean, it's not like Peter didn't team up in season 4 with a different female big bad that had been involved with Derek. Didn't work out to well for him, he ended up in Eichen. And honestly teaming up with Jennifer instead Kate would've made more sense (Scott can be annoying, but Peter teaming up with someone who killed his family and severely injured him that he tried his damnedest to kill was a baffling writing choice). I think it's just down to timing more than anything else - wanting to keep Peter (dubiously) good for longer before his turn.
