I have my SGA fics tagged as J Sheppard instead of SGA because all the fics are about him. Who cares about canon that kills off a fav char?

This is how I feel about an upcoming installment of my canon, except I wish my faves had been killed off. It would have been far more preferable (and much easier to ignore) than what canon actually did with them.

Ah well, at least my second-fave character isn't going to be in what is looking to be a huge disaster in about every way I can think of.

I'm so curious about what canon this is because I looked at it through my own fandom's lens and found myself going "who died that anyone cares about that'd have an impact on the show?" and then realized you probably weren't talking about Fallout.

I feel you, two of my favorite characters are dead-- one of whom, his death didn't even get to have an impact. I still want to see what happens to my remaining faves (death is only like the third worst thing that might happen to one of them)... but there are swathes of the fandom that I am NOT looking forward to hearing from, returning or new.

No matter what happens, some people are going to be big upset, and I'm already doing my best to ignore all the fics that suck.

I absolutely love Skyfall! It’s one of my favorite movies of all time and I watch it often. But it’s very accurate when Bond fans say it isn’t a Bond movie. It’s nothing like any others and that’s not even touching on what’s good or bad. It’s my favorite James Bond movie but that’s because it isn’t really a James Bond movie.
