Yeah, I think the best way to teach them is to just shut down any anti shit in spaces you mod and ignore it everywhere else. If you can't stop spouting purity bullshit where it's not wanted you're not mature enough to say anything interesting.

Exactly. And if you can ban them, do so. Getting the banhammer a time or two for breaking the rules or just generally acting like an ass worked wonders on the smarter kids back in the day.
