I hope so, too. It really seems like this is a new way to exploit one's children and at best, it's just way too much exposure for minors who cannot consent and cannot understand what the repercussions might be when they're older.

+1. Franke is a particularly awful case but I think all earnings of a minor (youtube, acting, whatever) should be put straight into a trust for the child, not administered by the parents, and they can only use the money for strictly limited things like education until the child is 18 and owns the trust.
