Disagreeing with an opinion doesn't mean you're not allowing the person to have their opinion. For example, I disagree with you that sex is gross on a personal level, but agree with you on a base-scientific level it's just exchanging of pheremones and fluids, so yeah. Not that pretty, but nothing to be ashamed of in my opinion.

This isn't a poorly-based opinion, because you are not saying you hate gay people, you are saying you don't want to watch them fuck, which is not very abnormal of you or illogical of you at all. The OP's secret was poorly worded if this was what she/he meant, because to say "I hate gay people" Is a dumb opinion, end of story . An opinion is an opinion, it's not sacred and doesn't have to be respected if it's hateful, just as mine don't either.
