I can't tell if the use of a Godzilla screencap with "I don't want all this allegory in my giant monsters beating each other up" is deliberate irony or not.

Well, after the first Godzilla film the bulk of the Showa-era films were kid-friendly giant monster slugfests that didn't bother with allegory or subtext, so...
