What is everyone doing this weekend?

I'm going to be playing video games and relaxing. Maybe a long walk. Hopefully just a nice weekend after my hellish work week.

Nothing. And I am looking forward to it! This is the first weekend in ages I don't have to work.

Let's be nothing weekenders together!

I'm working both days so I'm not looking forward to it, but I get to finish at 2 tomorrow and 4 on sunday, so it could be worse. I'm mostly just hoping our local twat of a regular who complains at us about the store prices, and never buys anything, won't be in while I'm there.

That sucks. :( Hopefully they don't show up.

We go tomorrow evening to see my partner’s new car! I’m not clear on if we actually bring it home with us then or if we go back Monday for that. But we’re really excited! It was delayed twice so it’s been a long wait.

Nice! What kind of car is it? I know the car market is kind of crazy still.

Pondering suicide.

I am always curious why people share this kind of info and then say not to worry. Are you delusional about how people can care about other people even if they don't know them, or is it like a joke, or do you honestly want people to worry?

Either way, I'm sorry you're in such a state of mind. I've definitely been there and I hope you find your way out in a healthy manner.

I’ve been there and I get why you’d post this. Or at least, I know why I’ve wanted to post it. It felt like it would have been more of a real consideration instead of a reaction to depression and a hopeless situation.

I hope you stay with us, nonnie. I truly mean that. The world is better with you in it and things can get better.

Hey anon, I hope you made it to today and are feeling better.

I just had to throw out a whole bowl of soup that I was going to heat up because a medium-sized amount of diluted green apple dishwashing detergent I squirted got into the soup and I don't know exactly where it landed. When I spooned up some of the soup to my nostrils, all I smelled was green apple. So I just threw out the soup instead of possibly poisoning myself with it. Damn! Wasted a 19 oz. can of good soup!

Oh dear! How did that happen? If it makes you feel better, I once accidentally poured a whole pot of stock into the sink because I forgot to a bowl under my strainer. :/

I went to squirt the detergent into the soup can to wash & rinse it out before I put in recycling, and the liquid squirted past the top of the can, past my arm, into the bowl of soup on the counter next to me.

Dang. That detergent wanted to be in your soup.

Resting, getting over a bad migraine. Watching something hopeful. Debating between LOTR, Doctor Who, or Star Trek (not sure which series). I'm just feeling depressed and bleh and I need some hope in my life.

Out of those, I'd say LOTR is the most hopeful with Star Wars being 'post hopeful'.

Going to try and tackle the clutter. I have been in a bad state and most of the house is fine, but closets and furniture surfaces (dresser, table, counters, etc) are a little bit hoarder status. It has been bothering me but I haven't had the mental energy to tackle it. Feeling like this weekend may be the time!

Good luck! I love when I get a spurt of energy to "spring" clean. Granted it always seems to happen on weekdays. Lol.

I'm hopefully going to finish up a very ambitious (for me) art piece and get it posted! Also gonna play some video games and find a coffee shop to hole up in and get some words written.

Hope you got some work on it done! What games are you playing? I think I've seen you playing Baldur's Gate?
