Life is good. I'm having a good time. I don't have any problems or pressing issues. My friends are cool. My family is chill. My partner is great. Work and hobbies are fulfilling and my lifestyle isn't exactly conventional but I'm at the age and financial status where I don't give a fuck and do what I want, at least to reasonable degrees. I wish everyone else could have this, too.

Ain't nobody wanna hear that shit.

I do! I have none of that and am pretty sad about it all, but I genuinely like hearing about positive lives of others. I am happy for you and hope things keep on being good for you!

I mean, it's good to hear that someone's life doesn't suck. But I also like the part where you say you wish everyone else could have good shit too.

This is a sweet sentiment. I'm sorry you feel like you can't share the good going on in your life.

I'm still struggling a lot but I definitely am in a better place now than before when my life was at rock bottom.

And funnily enough...a new hurdle I had to learn to cope with was people being indifferent or hostile toward my joys/good fortune.
It's a tricky bastard. When you're insecure but trying tour best and willing to take chances and things go well, at first I'm excited/relieved/joyful at my success. But it can instantly whither away or morph into anxiety and despair and doubt and guilt when someone tries to dim my spotlight or they don't acknowledge it when I go to them.

People aren't perfect and sometimes hearing someone having a good time when we aren't can be painful to endure, so I think it's very kind and considerate of you nonny to not want to sound off about the good things going on in your life.
But I can understand the struggle of doing this. It's great you're doing well and wanting all of ud goodwill too!

It's cool when people are actually content with their life. It means it's possible. And you being anon gives me layer that allows me not to compare
