I sleep with earplug in every night, and I reuse the same pair for like two years before getting new ones. I don't produce much earwax at all, but they do still get icky after a while. I continue to use them anyway. It's gross but I don't care. I have the (probably unfounded) belief that my own earwax coating them makes me less likely to develop an allergy to the material the way I did with the pink kind I used to use.

As someone with weak ears that are prone to infections (otitis media is my arch enemy), I'm torn between being envious of you and being disgusted, lol.
