There is something to be said for the chunkiness, the almost unpleasantness. It stood out when scifi was about being smooth and sleek and shiny.

I compare the first Sisters of Battle cover to the modern one and like, not to set two bad bitches against each other, but one of those ladies flosses her teeth with the tendons of heretics and crushes the skulls of cultists beneath her heel.
