I haven't read fanfic in years, but thank you for keeping the fandom going, OP. And thanks for the reminder. I'll have to find my DVDs and rewatch the show.

But for real I've kinda shipped them since the silly Japanese movies and King of the Monsters reignited that when it came out. I just think it's neat, no other reason.

Holy shit, memory unlocked. I had not thought of or remembered this show in forever but as I read your secret I had a very audio memory of that little kid and had to go look it up to make sure I was thinking of the right show. And yup. That shit was dark yo, but teenage me ate it up.
