I'm in my late 30s and I often kick myself for not getting into fields that called for little/no experience or an in from someone already in the field. Not until a few years did I realize often it literally is to just find jobs, apply, and then use the resources and tools you have to impart your mark in the field.
You probably won't get the highly notable jobs and it'll take a lot of time and networking to feel like you're in, but damn, do I wish I could have just gone for it when I was in my teens and 20s
