Reboots

The other thread made me think about this because Sentinel was mentioned and I'm kind of surprised that show has never had a reboot.

But what show are you surprised hasn't had a reboot? And what show would you pick to get a new version/reboot of?

Classic bad 90s tv that I felt had real potential amd could definitely work for modern audiences.

I wish the trend was to reboot sub par shows like these that had great ideas instead of trying to remake hits to cash in on nostalgia.

I can think of a few shows I'm surprised haven't followed the CSI/Criminal Minds trend of new seasons.

But in terms of reboots like Battlestar Galactica or Fantasy Island (among many others), I guess maybe Stargate or Farscape or Mash or Cagney and Lacy.

Space Ghost Coast to Coast. It feels like it would fit in on TV or as an internet series.

A Sentinel reboot feels past due, like it's an idea you think someone would go back to.

St Elsewhere reboot- dream casting would of course be John David Washington as Dr. Chandler, and Ed Begley Jr. as Mark Craig (is it stunt casting? maybe so. Would it work on me? Yes)... and while it was more progressive than a lot of shows have been since, I'd love to see Annie actually get to be a lesbian.

I guess technically we got a Man From UNCLE reboot in film form, and that's one I'd been envisioning ages ago.

I'm a little surprised they haven't done a darker version of I Dream of Jeanie or Gilligan's Island.

I wouldn't mind a reboot of Remington Steele or Moonlighting.
