They didn't say *all*. You assumed and inferred it. It's called generalization and is not meant to be representative of everything on the planet.

When people throw out a single identity label and then refer to that group as "us" then it's just as strongly implied as inferred. As you can see by all the other replies here.

When neurodivergent people are going like "that has nothing to do with my neurodivergence," listen to them maybe?

It does take a while for kids to move past the "I feel a certain way about something, so therefore everyone feels this way about it" phase, doesn't it? However, this is a particularly unfortunate bit of generalization, since it reinforces negative stereotypes and isn't representative of the majority of the group it's generalizing about.
