Teams chat has its upsides, but the audio quality on calls is such a crapshoot.

I don't see what Teams chat does that's better than Slack.

From my experience with both, I find Team's chat to be less cluttered and easier to organize all the chats I have. Plus one on one chats are easier to start. When I've used Slack, I find it visually overwhelming. I have similar issues with Discord (which comes from the same origin point as Slack).

Hmmm, just total opposite from my point of view - I find Teams chat sort of big and unwieldy - so presumably just a matter of preference.
