I am upset about Tennant leaving just as I was about Eccleston. Nine was my Doctor and I adored him to pieces, I didn't know about the whole regeneration thing and so it was a surprise for me (I watched the entire first season in less then 48 hours and there wasn't much time to read about DW)

Then Tennant came along and I disliked him, took over my Doctor and then just laid there all episode. But then I saw New Earth and fell in love with him, now he is my favorite. For that reason alone I am going to give Eleven a chance, I mean sure I don't think he is as cute, but I didn't think CE was cute either. It's all in how they play the character. And I love SM and his writing. I was excited to hear he was taking it over.

My concern is more along the lines of so much is changing, new cast, new writers/behind scenes people, new TARDIS, new Sonic Screwdriver, probably new desktop theme. I worry it's to much change at once and will seem like an entirely different show. I also am worried some of my favorite characters may not return (Captain Jack) I read an interview with RTD where he said they were all his characters and don't expect to see them again. I am hoping because Jack was first in an episode SM wrote that he doesn't fall under that and I know Smith told Barrowman he would like to work with him. I am a little meh about River Song returning and possibly Jenny but am excited to see what new characters they will create so we don't have the same Rose and Martha drama in all the episodes though.

Yeah I had a feeling there would be. I think that depending on what it is is going to make me the saddest of all the changes. I really like the Coral one and honestly disliked with a passion the ones from the first 8 Doctors. Anyone have any idea yet what it looks like?

There haven't been any pictures yet, no. I doubt there will be, but I'm not sure. I can't stand the coral (it makes iconing a bitch :|) so I'm pretty thrilled for it but then, I'm fucking excited for all of it. I'm ready for the new Doctor.

I still haven't gotten over Nine, and Ten got so many of the annoying cheesy monologues that I can't really say I really liked that phase of Doctorhood. But I got used to it, and it wasn't a showbreaker, you know?

Also: as someone with a low cute tolerance... :)
