I very much agree with you on Anakin's redemption/bringing balance to the force. JJ Abrams doesn't like the prequels and it shows. Disagree on that actually following that up should mean Kylo doesn't get redemption. Anakin did far worse things.

You have some misconceptions in here, so let me make sure you never have to watch TROS to clear them up: Snoke wasn't a Palpatine clone, Palpatine just had backup clones of Snoke for unknown reasons; Palpatine's intentions for Rey within TROS changed from "kill her" to "she'll be my new body"; and Duel of the Fates had been scrapped by the time TLJ came out, so Kylo's fate was very much up in the air.
