Re: Do you comment on fics?

I do. Not for every fic I read or enjoy...I just leave a comment when I like the fic and it makes me want to let the author know.

If it's an ongoing fic I usually give a comment along the lines of "I can't wait to read more".

If it's a completed fic I usually write what I liked about the fic or I give a simple thanks/gush (comments can be really long or short and simple, depends).

I really don't know how to encourage others to comment on fics outside of knowing that as a writer I would like to get comments complimenting what the reader liked about my fic and/or just a nice comment to let me know they read and liked my fic. So I tend to leave comments I would like to receive.
