I've got family visiting next week, so it'll be a lot of house cleaning and getting stuff ready for me. How about you guys?

Maybe treat myself to a trip to the used bookstore or REI. Might just stay home and clean. I'm not sure yet, but no concrete plans.

Ooh, I've been wanting to go to REI store but the closest one is four hours away. Used bookstores are also fun (depending on the area).

I was very excited to learn there was one nearby (about 30mins away) when I moved here! It's pretty small, but I love to go an just browse the store and look at gear. And sometimes there are surprise sales!

Crocheting, games, and hopefully finishing this book I am struggling through are my plans.

Enjoying my weekend off. I've got some errands to run and I'm going to go for a nice walk with the gf on sunday, but otherwise it's a lot of chilling and playing some games after my chores are done. I'm trying out that new Pandaria thing on WoW to see how it is.

It’s a limited time in game event where you make a new character and level them though Pandaria to get currency to buy mounts, toys, some pets I think and cosmetics. Mostly I’m just happy I can make a vulnerable and run around as a little shabby thing.

So, tomorrow is spa day. I've got my monthly massage with my regular guy who is one of the teachers at the local massage school. But then I've booked some appointments with one of the interns as well. The last couple of weeks have been stressful, and I just really need a day of relaxing.

Oh, also, I've ordered some bras in different sizes because I need new ones. Going to go after the spa and try on and see which ones fit and keep those.

No plans for Sunday other than laundry and watching All Saints with mom (great 90s/early 00s Australian medical drama).

Hope the interns are good! I need new bras too but hate shopping for them. I usually go to the mall to try the different options.

PCT anon here. I’ll be spending the weekend stressing. Followed by some packing and more stressing. I was supposed to leave today for the Superior Hiking Trail along with my dog but we’ve had a lot go wrong this week. I don’t know when we’re leaving, but it won’t be before Tuesday. And we may get on the road and head somewhere else depending on the Canadian wildfire situation. I’m so ready for a little break but need to weather the stress a bit longer so we’re safe out there, wherever we end up.

Oh dear. Sorry your trip had to be delayed but it definitely makes sense if the outdoors isn't cooperating! How long of a hike is it?

Family (Mom) is visiting already, so probably all sorts of random activities including grabbing stuff at the local farmers' market.

I've had a stressful couple of weeks and haven't gotten much sleep, so I want to sleep, and I've really gotten back into reading lately, so I definitely plan on reading. I will probably also listen to some podcasts and might bake some brownies.

I am not sure if I am using this right, but going to a guided tour (city tour?). Also it's Long Night of Museums but I am not sure if I am going, it's always too crowded and I wanted to do some cleaning at home.
I am planning to do tapestry but the weather is really nice, so I am thinking if it's a good idea to do in in a park. It's possible because I do small simple stuff but doing tapestry outside would surely attract attention,guh.

That sounds like a great weekend. How big are the tools for tapestry? I'm not sure what it involves.

Yeah! I am quite happy with a plan.
So for hand weaving (thing that I do) it's usually 50x70cm (~20x30in) loom, it's classic, but I am using smaller embroidery loom that you can held in your hands. I can't get nice elaborate results on this, but 1)I use it for training 2) I really don't need big embroidery in my life, I have moth problem already

Taking my siblings out to the city for one of their birthdays. We're taking the lightrail there, which none of us have ever taken.

I also need to get a new laptop, which I plan to shop for online. My laptop has been on its way out for a while now.
