If you couod make a new Stargate show what would it be about? A reboot? A whole new adventure?

I kind of want exploration through the stargates from the pov of non-Earth peoples. It would be hilarious to have an ep here and there where an Earth team shows up and are just total weirdo aliens (because we totally are weirdo aliens).

Stargate Victoriana.

The Gate is unleashed in the Victorian era and the British Army decide to try and conquer the galaxy instead of the US Airforce.

I'd watch that.

I love your idea of a show based on non-Earth POVs. That sounds way fun.

We (humans) really were our parents' (Ancients) children in that franchise at times so Earth teams showing up occasionally to fuck things up for the non-Earth people and seeing their perspective without the built-in protagonist sympathy would be interesting.

(Yes I know that even with protagonist status the shows sometimes still made it hard to side with the humans!)

Just SG-1 with a different team.

That's it. That's the whole pitch. Just episodic weekly stargate adventures. Maybe a little more on the science side and a little less on the military side but same basic concept.

Yeah, next-gen SG-1 team is something I could really get behind. Sam has to be the general in charge of the program tho.
