Job location

How important is for you job location? I had a job interview and I am realizing yet again that it's my number one priority. Payment was ok, but could be better for my position. It's not really prestigious place, it's not super interesting work-wise (I prefer to do a bit different work in my profession). But damn if I am getting an offer I am taking this job because location is A++.

As long as the commute is affordable, and not in Texass.

As long as the commute is unpaid, that's YOUR time they're stealing. Location is essential!

Pay and Location are top factors in any job. Can I afford to live there? Do I want to live there? How is the commute? All important considerations.

AYRT
For me it's location, work hours and job satisfaction. There are sums that would get me to work extra but for like half a year tops.
Long commute time is just so damn depressing. I know a lot of people who are OK with it, but I am just not, it is soul sucking.

I did the hour long commute for a temp job that lasted one year and I never want to do it again. We get so few "off" hours as it is, I dont want to spend them in a car to and from work!

My commute is 5mins now and it is amazing.

My commute was 17 minutes (walking) and I miss it already!
The worst thing that an hour considered good decent commute here.
