It's the longest running show in history and the quality slid a lot back in the teens. For more than a decade around that decline the show came out with mediocre episodes. Majority of those who say the show is crap now likely spent years watching the mediocre episodes and few of us are willing to watch the new stuff/catch up. *shrug*
