It's a cute show!

I really wanted to like this but it just didn't work for me. But tbf I only tried the first cpuple of eps - does it get better? I know a lot of shows - comedies esp - need a bit of time to find their groove.

I watched the first season and the first couple episodes of the second but the way they acted like being single was some dire tragedy just annoyed me.

I sort of fell into watching this a while back and enjoyed it. I haven't seen any of the new season, th6

I agree. This may not be their golden age, but they still have good episodes.

I agree, the Simpsons has never been as tired and boring as hearing someone say that it's crap now is at this point. I like that there are different eras of the show, like a band that's been together for a long time, and to me it's more interesting to have a conversation about that rather than just 'it's different, so it sucks".

It's the longest running show in history and the quality slid a lot back in the teens. For more than a decade around that decline the show came out with mediocre episodes. Majority of those who say the show is crap now likely spent years watching the mediocre episodes and few of us are willing to watch the new stuff/catch up. *shrug*

Play what you want OP. I used to play Eldar just to have my army be almost entirely made up of Howling Banshees and Harlequinn's because why not? Was it effective? No. Did I ever win? Sometimes. But was I having fun? Yes. And that's what's important, not what's meta.

I dropped My Hero Academia quite a while ago, but I got the impression it was one of those reactionary stories where the people who’re right about how fucked-up society is are the ones who do unnecessarily awful things so you know you’re supposed to side with the reactionaries instead. Evaluating the morality of those stories in any detail is a waste of time.
