You mean something where Han and Leia have a daughter and she's obsessed with her grandfather and spurns the rest of her family to join a shadowy mentor who taught her to follow the dark side. And then tries to interrogate a naive and very powerful young boy with no training and no family (that they know of) who manages to turn the tables on her and fight her to a standstill, and eventually turns out to be the son of the Emperor. Hm. Sounds like a premise that might play out in interesting ways, but I think you'd have an uphill battle getting people to empathize with a girl who destroys consoles with her lightsaber when frustrated. And tries to position herself as "teacher" to someone who can beat her in a fight. And ... the scene with Han would hit rather different. Nothing insurmountable, but I see why authors don't tend to give Kylo the same weaknesses if they genderflip him.

...I probably should have just said "brooding female villain tormented by her past and kindhearted idealistic younger man" because I didn't mean I want genderflip with exactly those two characters, I just meant the dynamic. Reylo just strikes me as a typical well-known example of it.
