I love the game, hope you will too! I strongly recommend playing in survival mode, building camps is much more interesting ang worthwhile then, and guns do some proper damage. Have fun!

Fallout 4 is probably more newbie-friendly than the earlier ones. I like that it’s a lot easier to eventually raise the main stats if you realize you put one of them way too low.

My favorite is Fallout: New Vegas, but I will always have an affection for Fallout 4 since it was my first. Plus it had my husbands, John Hancock and Nick Valentine. Well, canonically not the latter, but in my heart...

I recently started Fallout 76 and while I'm absolutely not a multiplayer person, I found it to be super fun. It's easy enough and if you have a grasp of the background story, it gives you a lot!
Either way keep an eye on game store sales, I got both 76 and 4 I believe for free via Twitch Prime.
