I love Donna, Ace and Tegan so much. I feel like this is still pretty harsh on all of the other companions (and if you like Tegan it's very insulting to call her girlfriend a cabbage tbh) but you're not wrong that Donna, Ace and Tegan are all amazing.

Why is extra insulting to call someones significant other a cabbage? Sometimes people we like date people we don't.

One reason I got tired of Dr. Who is too many eps where the companion does something really dumb like letting the monster out of the cage after the Doctor warned them not to.

Donna is in an odd place, companion-wise. She's one of my favorite companions and favorite Doctors. So, she gets her own special category.
