I never thought of the Brig as a companion personally; he's his own, unique thing.

Ace. (Who was the companion when I first started watching, which probably helps, but she's my kind of character anyway.)
Jamie. (Been watching through Two, lately).
Bill. (Not that they did much with her, but...I wanted them to do more.)

I really liked Bill and wished that she had more time on the show too :( She was one of the reasons why I finally warmed up to the 12th Doctor; I thought they had a good dynamic.

1-3 in no particular order Leela, Turlough and Martha Jones. Also bonus Fitz Kreiner (I would really like someone like him in the main universe)
Last places Clara (I enjoy characters with flaws but I just can't stop finding her annoying) and 13th's the Fam (except maybe Graham but what a bunch of badly written characters)

All the ones I dislike are honestly just because of their fans, so I'm going to skip that list.

Captain Jack Harkness and Martha for new Who.

least favourite is Rose... I actually really loved her in the first season, but then MMMH NOPE. she's the only companion i can't stand (and only when she's with the 10th doctor)
