Re: Speaking of age perceptions

We used to call 30s and 40s "fandom old" or "internet old" because yeah, it isnt really old but it is what teenagers consider "too old" to be having fun on the internet or having silly fun hobbies.

Although I will admit sonce hitting 42 my body has given up and I definitely feel old. I don't know how I'll make it to retirement age at this point. Maybe if I lived somewhere where I could see a doctor and get medical help but I don't so *shrug*

I don't want to contribute to the whole generational thing, but every millenial I know is exhausted. We (were forced to) hit the ground running as kids: always had to be doing something, try all these sports, I had a job in highschool so you should too, all those extracurriculars will look great for college applications, so what the economy crashed twice you just need to work harder, why don't you monetize your hobbies, you're only 40 what do you mean you're tired?
