Looking forward to forty! I found online fandom in middle school, when I could only access the internet from the library and I spent a lot of time looking up any kind of fansite for Ghostbusters, X Men, other comic books, and anime. From there I REALLY got into stuff that other women my mother's age were writing about Star Trek and the Man From UNCLE, Starsky and Hutch, MASH... then The Highlander and The Sentinel (though those likely skewed a little younger, more gen x than boomer).
