I tried watching Death Parade (it's really popular in some fandoms I am in) and I am still low-key angry.

Oh, I watched it a couple of years ago. I enjoyed the beginning a lot because of the novelty and the episodic structure, but then when the "plot" kicks in I was very underwhelmed. I don't really remember much of it, but I know I didn't really like it.

I didn't even get to the plot part! This characters judge mortality of dead people, hold their memories and can't understand basic selfishness and deception. Abusive jealous piece of shit getting to reincarnate while his wife didn't because *checks notes* she probably cheated on him but actually not. Yeah. No. Thank you, fuck off.
Also seeing this from a different side was awfuly repetitive.
