Thanks for the link! The books listed (while in some cases having loaded titles) might actually be the more subtle options listed in the whole piece. The podcasts make me the most concerned for loads of reasons (let's not get started on how much I can't stand The Atlantic).

I did find the line about anti-racism to be a surprise coming from an NPR article but also perhaps the most critical point that I think is getting overlooked. It certainly can appear as a vanity project, and I do wonder how people can show they're actually changing their ways. The behavior described in the secret is a good example of what not to do, but it's still not clear how to show that the work one is doing on this front is geniune.
