Currently listening to The Old Witch Sleep and the Good Man Grace by The Amazing Devil. That build up and change at the 5:13ish mark and then the build during the next minute or so as the music intensifies. I love it. That song gets to me every time.

It's such a dumbfuck song but I love dumbfuck slightly alt mellow pop songs released between 1985 and 1995, got to be one of my favorite genres

I lived somewhere where all the fans made different levels of buzzing and humming when they were on and it drove me nuts. It was a constant balancing act of "how long can I handle the annoying noise" vs "how long can I handle the heat."
