What are your favorite cooking scenes in media?

Mine is Sanji's introduction in the Live Action One Piece series.

All the Studio Ghibli stuff, probably... just the simple act of assembling a bento box, or frying bacon and eggs. It's just so cozy and comforting, even when I have no idea what the ingredients are.

I also love the hobbits cooking a fry-up on Weathertop in the LOTR, and the dwarves raiding Bilbo's pantry in the books.

Yes to the LOTR and Hobbit scenes. I love all the different food and cooking scenes in the books as well.

Kevin cooking for Chiron in "Moonlight."

"Delicieux" had some great scenes, too!

The entirety of Big Night starring Stanley Tucci and Tony Shalhoub, but especially the scene with Il Timpano and the scene at the end where Stanley Tucci wordlessly cooks an omelette.

Like, just look at this:

I love that movie but I really want to know what happened afterwards!

I've only ever seen the glimpse of that huge pasta thingy and want to eat one so bad. Thanks for reminding me to put this movie on my watch list!

Almost all the cooking/food scenes in "Eat Drink Man Woman" but particularly the opening scene itself is a masterpiece

Not so much the cooking but just the scene itself in "No Reservations" where Aaron Eckhart is trying to get Abigail Breslin to eat a plate of spaghetti

The cooking scenes were just about the only thing I liked in The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty.
