Generally I simply scroll past/ignore/block.

I sometimes have to remind myself it's not worth the effort to read a lot/engage.

I personally think it's more or less bored or lonely people who like the stimulation of being angry. So they get self righteous on petty/superficial things or they purposefully double down on controversial topics/beliefs.
And so they feel validated that they are right and someone is wrong or that they were able to upset someone(s).

I used to be someone who got self righteous to feel important. Or I'd troll and purposefully say things to kiss people off.
It was really sad, because I wasn't in a good place and I thought I was such a badass.

So yeah, I just remind myself it's usually not worth the effort to engage with rage bait.
