The question I'd ask is does she REALLY think that way at the ripe old age of 18, or is this her version of virtue-signalling? The former is possible... a lot of 18 year olds are too naive and silly to realize that turning 18 doesn't magically make you grown up, and that 18 is not very old in the grand scheme of things. But to consider oneself a parent at 18 just because you're 18 and 18 is so very ancient is... well, special.
