I think in most it is assumed they have a womb. I've seen some where surgery is required to give birth, some with an undefined hole, and the horrible "ass baby". However, it seems like both sex organs (with a small penis) is becoming increasingly popular.

Meh, I STRONGLY prefer the "ass baby" version to giving the dude a vagina or an undefined extra hole. Like, if the explanation is that he literally gestated the baby in his rectum, then yeah that's horrible and makes no sense. But typically anal birth presupposes that the dude has a uterus, which has a cervix-like attachment to the anus. The anus functioning something like a cloaca in this scenario. I don't see that as any more "horrible" than any of the other explanations, and personally it's the one that feels the smoothest to conceptualize and doesn't hit any of my squicks.
