I don't read it anymore (I mostly actively avoid it) but I went through a phase in a couple of fandoms where I was all in on mpreg and I always really appreciated the authors that threw in a little fantasy/magic biology in there.

I think in most it is assumed they have a womb. I've seen some where surgery is required to give birth, some with an undefined hole, and the horrible "ass baby". However, it seems like both sex organs (with a small penis) is becoming increasingly popular.

I mean I was born via c-section and I'm a man with a uterus so I guess not only is mpreg not a physical impossibility, if a guy doesn't have a clear exit for the baby, storebought is fine.

Disgust seems like an overly strong reaction to me. Like yeah, it's cringe, mainly because people can likely still access the fic in other ways, and also because...like...as badly as they want people to support their book, trying to force it really isn't going to do them any favors.

But OTOH they're not actually doing anything wrong. It's totally their right to pull their fic, and it's also totally their right to decide the terms on which they are willing to share their fic now.

Wow, I really remember a lot less of this show than I thought. I only saw the first season and can’t think whose head has been chopped off. All the members of the Seven that I remember are still there.

That's all well and good, but in this case (aka "standard model" male gets preggers) I think the question is less "how does the baby get out" and more "where is that fucker gestating for 9 months?"

My only experience with Mpreg is as beta for a friend who wrote it like fifteen years ago and they always had wombs. I got the impression that was the main explanation but I’m not sure if it was just in that fandom or at that time or maybe only just that pairing.

I mean for me it's not enough for the fic to have the kinks and characters and stuff that I like; I also want it to be well written, or at least satisfyingly written. I've never seen any AI writing that was at all compelling.
