With a show like this, I’m not always even sure who counts as a main character vs side character.

the little guy and the dragons were cool, otherwise I didn't see what all the fuss was about, frankly.

I watched about 3 seasons I think? But it very quickly showed who had plot armour (in the sense of "will survive to the final battle", anyway) and who didn't, and I'm glad I stopped there.
