The Alphas are growing up on TikTok, Cocomelon and Skibidi Toilet, so...

Also, LOL, you think Gen Z grew up on sitcoms. They're the Markijackseptipie generation.

Yep, raised by YouTube.

Yeah I’d think it’s millennials who grew up on sitcoms? But they also grew up on some of the best children’s entertainment, plus had access to all the greats from before their time.

I'm a millennial and I watched A LOT of sitcoms via rerun, but I don't know any gen z who were unless they specifically sought those shows out.

AYRT that makes sense to me. Yeah, I can’t imagine many gen z watched 90s sitcoms. Maybe Friends if their parents were among the crowd that went crazy for it when it came to streaming, but I can’t see the majority watching others.

Basically every single show in this secret (except Gumball*) is one I'd associate with late-millennials, not zoomers. Like, Invader Zim? You think Zoomers were alive when Invader Zim was airing?

(*Zoomers do fucking love Gumball. And Adventure Time, and High School Musical. Those are the only ones I'm in touch with the culture enough to know.)

My zoomer sister was a baby when Invader Zim aired but loves Adventure Time because she was a tween when it was on TV. I do see zoomers online who love it, but it's mainly because they streamed it, not as a childhood show.

Well, Gen Beta starts next year, so there's something else to look forward to.
