(AYRT) My time on Twitter has been crap, which is why I deleted. Even when I only follow 30+ people or avoid discourse the circles turned toxic just like on Tumblr. I was a bit too young to use LJ for more than a year (forums were my main fandom experience) but damn, I miss that format now.

That sucks!
I am old enough to have LJ experience, it was good, ngl. And I had a group of fandom friends that somehow ended on twitter.
I had my share of drama and falling out but I am both offline and/or online friend with a lot of fandom people. But we had a site similar to LJ that lasted through LJ days to late 10s. I can't say that my tumblr experience is bad though, so my standarts are probably really lax.
