I was past the target age when TENG was in theatre but I still went to that one instead of TRTED bc Dreamworks wasn't in my peripheral at the time. I regretted it later bc TRTED is arguably the more charismatic of the movies and as a fan of The Lion King you would've thought that would be on my radar due to Sir Elton being the composer.

I never really got the whole colonisation thing until later in life as an educated adult but that's probably also the reason why I enjoyed Pocahontas as a kid.
