VegasPete from KinnPorsche. The actors have zero chemistry and without it the romance doesn't work for me. I was completely bored during their story line.

Oh, thank you. The popularity of that ship baffles me. They are interesting on paper I guess, but I just didn't care about any of it on the show.

Chemistry is extremely subjective, though. I know nothing about the fandom. But I'm guessing other people who like the ship do see some chemistry there.

Someone did a video essay about this show and the different tricks they had to pull with the camera for VP that KP (main pairing) didn't have to do. It's already noticeable in the show, but in the video essay it's pretty glaring. I will agree that chemistry is somewhat subjective but honestly I have to wonder if people are seeing what they want, because objectively speaking there was a lot more work in editing put into VP.

I have a feeling a fair number of them are book fans. The rest I assume are willing to overlook/rewrite it in their heads for the BDSM. Which, fair enough if it's that important to them.

I'm gonna be over here, though, with the guys with so much chemistry the Thai government ships them IRL.
