(Anonymous) 2024-07-20 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah thats where they lost me

Hey, he was good on Newsradio.

Thirty years ago.

Fear Factor wasn't too bad either. And I liked it when he called out Carlos Mencia for stealing jokes. And then there was this interesting tv series he did (Joe Rogan Questions Everything) that I watched for a while. But goddamn, the man does not know how or when to shut his mouth and think.

Um....

(Anonymous) 2024-07-20 06:33 pm (UTC)(link)
"I don't feel for or empathize with the characters," "I love Joe Rogan," ... yeah that tracks.

(Anonymous) 2024-07-21 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
It was clearly a typo. The name they reference changes at the end of the secret.

Curious to know how you feel about pets/animals in real life.

So, you watched something that was fantasy, with nonhuman characters, knowing you don't like either of those things, and then you didn't like it? Wow. What a shock.

(Anonymous) 2024-07-20 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Not sure what you see in Joe Rogan in 2024, but whatever makes you happy.

I'm not a fan of his at all, but I've watched some of his episodes with Neal Degrasse Tyson because I do enjoy NDT, and Joe Rogan is honestly a pretty good interviewer. Regardless of his repulsive personal beliefs, irresponsible misinformation, or weird supplement scams, the man has some talent, and brings on a pretty wide range of guests. I can understand someone enjoying parts of his work a lot more than 98% of these manosphere ragebait guys.

That said, I have NO idea what he has to do with Bright???

(Anonymous) 2024-07-20 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
NA

He was in it, interviewing an orc about Jakoby.

(Anonymous) 2024-07-21 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I agree he's a good interviewer. It's a shame he didn't simply stick to that.

(Anonymous) 2024-07-20 09:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I do not love Joe Rogan, I like fantasy and especially orcs, and Bright still did nothing for me. The reason for that is that it’s not a very good movie.

(Anonymous) 2024-07-21 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
+1, in fact it is a shit movie on many levels, which pisses me off because I love urban fantasy stuff and a crappy movie like this means no more will get made for a while.

Yup. It had some good ideas, but it was so poorly executed. Not enjoyable at all and not remotely good.
